Back by popular demand! Please join us for an evening of wood-fired pizzas on the farm!  Pizzeria Deville's Chef John Durning brings his wood-burning oven to the farm to create delicious, farm-fresh pizzas for purchase. Farm fresh salads and produce also available. Bring your picnic, listen to music and enjoy sunset on the farm.

Gleaning at the farm
Sunday afternoons, June - October, 1pm, Prairie Wind Family Farm
Gleaning is a great way to volunteer at the farm, know you’re making a difference in your community, and increase access to fresh healthy foods.  Volunteers harvest produce that otherwise would not be harvested from our fields. These fresh vegetables are then delivered to a local food pantry for distribution to their clients. Learn more here.

Pop-Up Cooking School: Condell Cooks for Life
Monday, May 8th from 6-8pm, the Advocate Condell Medical Center

Join us for evening of cooking demonstrations and tips shared by a dynamic group of local chefs.  The event will feature Chef Lee Kuebler, Milwalky Trace + Taco; Chef Robert Collins, Youthage Culinary School; Chef John Durning, Pizzeria DeVille and Chef Aleks Semova, Prairie Farm Corps 2017 Summer Kitchen Lead, and Lindsey Shifley, Local Food Revolution Super Ambassador (and friend of the farm!) for a delicious and informative event featuring Prairie Wind Family Farm produce.
