Prairie Wind Family Farm offers the delivery of local, certified organic vegetable shares, pasture-raised brown egg shares, and fresh summer fruit shares grown by us and by our partner farms.
CSA members sign up in advance to receive a share in the harvest during the growing season, and each week receive a farm newsletter full of tasty recipes and news from the farm. This program is often referred to as Community Supported Agriculture, or CSA. Our CSA program allows members a direct connection to our farm, land, animals and to us, the family who grows your food.

We offer delivery to community pickup sites in the northern and western suburbs of Chicago. You can pick up your farm shares during the window of time designated for that pickup site.

Delivery Schedule (2018)
Many members join for the whole year. You may choose to join any combination of shares and seasons you would like.
- Winter Shares - the week of December 5, 2017 through the week of April 3, 2018
- Spring Shares - the week of April 23 through the week of June 11
- Early Summer Shares - the week of June 18 through the week of August 6
- Late Summer Shares - the week of August 13 through the week of October 1
- Fall Shares - the week of October 8 through the week of November 13
